Mash potatoes fast! No need for a ricer tool as long as you have a mesh strainer that will do!
This idea came about when I was draining my potatoes through my mesh strainer one day. The potatoes where nice and soft and it just hit me!
Anytime I boil potatoes to make mashed potatoes or i’m making potato water for my bread I make sure to boil potatoes for 15-20 minutes depending on how small I diced them up. Drain the water (reserve if using it for later) and take a spoon and smash gently through mesh strainer. It’s so easy!!! Makes such creamy potatoes you won’t even need all that butter and milk to make them smooth.
